Site ethos

Post by Captain on Sun Aug 31, 2008 2:01 pm

Just wondering what the ethos of the site is like. I came across the site through the Xbox forums and it sounds really interesting to me as a mature gamer, but I wondered how competitive it is. I enjoy my gaming but I'm not always that good!

hi captain , its as serious as you want it to be in all fairness , i am really poor at cod4 etc but hey its about the taking part , and in fairness if you go in as a group you tend to do better as you communicate more and watch eachothers backs and tactically its a better game , forza2 on the other hand is slightly more competitive but remember , we all started at the beginning Very Happy

To be honest where about taking part. by that I mean everyone just playing the games for the enjoyment of them, be that trying to win in forza or trying not to die in COD4 LOL were not about laying down rules and regulations and arangeing sessions that everyone MUST BE THERE! were mature gamers were not in school anymore LOL. All we expect is fair play and some friendly banter. If you want to get really involved you can, theres allways a need for review writers or people to run there own comps or even start there own clans all of which we can back you up with, but at the other end if you just join in one night at a weekend for an hour and bob on the forum once in a blue moon thats ok too, but again the more you put in the more you get out.

yea all except the guys who have to fix them.

when you sign up the problem should go away, and oh look it did Very Happy

I think It's to stop guests posting as "J oker" (note the space) to imitate me "Joker"... but then again you can just register as "J oker"... so I don't see the point.

nicely said , to be honest if you have a site with 100 members who post nothing its a shit site , if its got 20 members who post daily then its a good site (not saying thats all the members we want by the way the more the merrier ), we hope to be the good site with regular posts from all members to share knowledge and info and regular gaming sessions , halo 3 co-op was great with 4 of us who were all mates goin through the levels and gears of war 2 has a 5 player co-op story mode when it comes out so am looking forward to that one Very Happy
