What are the rules regarding times set with drag ??? Are they allowed ?? I know the official forza time trails don't allow them as you can gain a big advantage especially on tracks like mugello and road atlanta.

you have lost me a bit here buddy , what do you mean by official forza time trials ?
i am using the Hot Lap times from the forza website for ease so no-one has to post times up , did this for 2 reasons , 1, all you have to do is set the time and we will collect the info and 2, stops people knocking a few 10th's of their time and saying it was a typing error

drafted lap times are included in the table we have done , have no idea where i would get everyones un-drafted lap times from

i agree with you that drafting can cause a big advantage , on any track if you are drafting a faster car you can get over a second off your lap time i would imagine but everyone has the choice to draft the car in front. was trying to keep the time trials easy for everyone by myself collecting the information from forza.net but if you drafted a car its that time that is recorded by them which is a pain in the arse , in all fairness i have thought of another way you could maybe get a faster time ( which obviously i aint done as i am losing every time trial ) any thoughts on the drafting issue are more than welcome but i honestly cant see a way round it , i have also heard rumours of a tyre glytch which allows you to put better tyres on your car without affecting the cars PI rating which Turn 10 apparently cant patch. any suggestions , ideas , thoughts on this one are appreciated and will try and incorporate it , at the end of the day mate if people want to cheat and use glytches there is not a lot we can do about it but they are only cheating themselves , its a bit of fun at the end of the day , also if i set a time i prefer to do it without drafting as i feel i have got a fair lap with no aid from anyone else Very Happy

Not trying to make it difficult for you manse Very Happy

When they organise the hotlap challenges through their pitpass reports and in the tournaments they don't allow drafted times (they still show them as your fastest lap though)

I have no problem with them being allowed so carry on as normal, I'd love to know how they tyre glytch. I presume the other way you were thinking was someone coming behind you in an R1 and giving you a push down the straight. If people want to do this they are only cheating themselves.

Oh you know me so well , thats exactly what i was thinking , will try it later on nissan speedway D class and see if it registers it Very Happy , i know you weren't trying to make it difficult mate i just can't see any way around it , i know its shit when people cheat and glytch but thats the way of the world , the tyre glytch is something like you add all your bits and say get it to a C550 and then you hit a series of buttons in an order and it opens up the tyre menu and you can choose your tyres , dont think it lets you put the top sticky ones on but you can certainly increase your tyres to a more sticky level , well done on the lap times by the way , and if i aint mistaken you did them all without drafting Very Happy

if you want to do the tire all you have to do is go into tires is go into tires and when you see the stock, sport and race tires all you all to do is go highlight the sport tires and quickly press left trigger and then a pretty quickly, what this does is let you change the stock tire make and is really only effective in s class for those cars that handle great but need the extra pi points to put into power, this is why when you look at the s class scoreboards they are hammered with tire glitched saleens.

and its perfectly legal to do this as its a glitch that turn10 approve of because (a)there too lazy to fix it or (b)because you should of been able to choose a different stock tire from the start anyways.

Post by Manse on Sun Sep 07, 2008 8:04 pm

goin off on a tangent here , same thing happened to me 2 yrs ago , i had £12k in the bank and someone withdrew it all over 2 days , in a state of shock i went down to the local bank and they said there was nothing they could do and there was another £2k goin out the following day and they couldn't stop it from goin , police were called in and a fraud investigation was carried out and tracked to 2 guys in america who had cloned loads of cards and were raking it in , anyway while in the bank an old guy went to the cashier and wanted to take £500 out of his account but only has his bank book on him , they said they couldn't do it cause he had no proof of who he was , to which i replied " are you lot taking the P1ss ???? to which the copper cautioned me on the spot , anyway all money was recovered so hopefully you should get it all back matey , its not your fault there is no 24 hr fraudline to call so you did your best by phoning them tomorrow and thats all they can go off , looks like some little frigger has been through your bin and got ya details or the bank has put them in a bin liner and they have been stolen from there , so if ya see some chav walking round your way with a chunky gold necklace on and a new pair of Nike's chin the git to be on the safe side !! prob best not do that , half of warrington will be sparked out Very Happy CHAVTASTIC

Ok timetrial table has been updated and there have been some serious lap times set by members , howler obviously has no fear of heights as he seems to be the top of every table and now has max points so has won the top prize of taking his forza mates out for a meal and a beer at his expense , well done mate Very Happy seriously though i can see a few of us trying to better our times as there is very little between the rest of us and i know that i for 1 can better my times on the tracks , also if you look at the forza tables over on forza.net you can see on a few tracks we are way up in the top 1000 which when you consider how many people actually play this its took some serious skills to get there , well done guys and as before if there are any mistakes then PM me and i will look into it , i am only human and mistakes are possible , cheers guys , Manse Very Happy
