i heard good and bad things about the microsoft wheel but its the only one you can use for forza.ya might be best searching a few forums for that one.
get yourself a joypad recharge cable, this way when the joypad batteries run out you just plug it in the joypad and its just like joypads used to be plus it charges your batteries then when there charged just unplug it.but get the one from game, get there brand its cheaper,i went through 2 of the official microsoft ones and there more exspencive

ya gonna need a headset but if you buy the elite you get one anyway,if your gonna message a lot on xbox by text it might be worth getting that little keyboard thing that plugs into the joypad.

if your a bit short after getting all this but still need xbox live i can give you a free months trial till you got the money to buy the yearly one.

yeah i wouldn't bother with anything as long as you have the headset which is a must you can muscle through without the rest , i have a wireless controller and a headset and i have had mine for 2 yrs and i managed just fine , the wheel is not bad but have a word with the guys on here as i have never used it but it gets mixed feelings , forza is just fine with the pad , would say 99% of people play using the pad , messages you can send via xbox.com so the messenger thing i found i never needed , so to clarify , xbox , headset, controller , xbox live , bottle of vodka , can of redbull to mix with vodka , luvvly jubbly Very Happy

pad recharge kit is a must, I had the wheel and thought it was ace....till I tried a real FFB wheel and realised it was crap....leave the wheel till the 360 suports the G25 (honest they'll cave in eventualy) Get an RGB scart for your TV if it's not included, erm......i-pod pluged in the back and yeah thats realy about it, dosn't a standard USB keyboard work with the 360?

Hazzagh my new router has arrived both wired and wireless capability.

Now the question is, will the x box allow me to use on non specific wireless network card instead of its rip off £50.00 one ????

I shall let you all know...

I have the microsoft wheel and quite like it, force feedback is realistic only let down is that it isn't a 720d throw.

I've also got redoctane wired and wireless guitar, wireless prefered as its wireless, but IMO doesn't look as good as the wired one.

Also have the messenger pad, not a nessecety but very useful when you feed the need to express your thoughts to a person who doesn't have there mic in

and on the topic of mics, the wireless one is handy and much better than the standard version but it does take a bit of getting used too as the mic sound is not as clear or loud as the standard plug in mics
