Gears Of War 2

Last month, at the 2008 E3 Media & Business Summit, Microsoft confirmed that Gears of War 2 will have a Limited Edition that will come in a collectible SteelBook DVD case and include a 48-page hardbound book called "Beneath the Surface", a Bonus DVD and an exclusive gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle available during online play.

The only info we had about the Bonus disk is that it will include exclusive making-of-the-game video footage, design galleries with audio commentary by Epic Games, and promotional videos including the "Rendezvous" trailer released at this year's E3.

Today, the British Board of Film Classification has publicly revealed the entire content of the bonus disc included with the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2.
When submitted to the BBFC the linear elements within the work had a running time (eg cut scenes) of 148m 40s.

It's a necessary milestone in game development, but really, most of you couldn't give a rat's arse about 99% of games that "go gold". It just means the game's one step closer to hitting the market then never being bought by you. But Gears of War 2, hey, that's different. Loads of you are planning on buying it. So know that the game has now, to quote the vernacular, gone gold. Sleep easy
